I'm so fucking glad I completely gave up on consoles after the PS4 and Switch 1 and just went full PC. I literally had a moment of revelation when I was playing some sub 30 fps game and I just said "fuck having to rebuy some remaster of this game if I just want it to fucking run half-decent"
