Because he is belgian comic artist. He isn't a game developer. Look at it from other perspective. Imagine how annoying it is that project you made for shit and giggles in highschool is the only thing talked about. The thing that you personally consider very mediocre at best and would be much happier talking about your comics. I had respect for him before remake for having clear anticonsumer position, when he didn't milk OFF as tge only thing he can actively sell, but rather continued to do shit he wanted. Now I don't feel that way. Honestly feels like he doesn't even want people to play the remake for OFF's shadow will haunt him even more because of this.
