Daily chores definitely aren't that bad, but collapse pieces are still relatively scarce. Not that it matters, since the gacha mechanic sucks anyway. The events are absolutely timesinks, though. GFL wasn't any different in terms of having events stretch out too long, but I just started skipping through the story for those a long time ago. I was just hoping that maybe it'd be better for GFL2, but I can see that it's not.

The story for GFL2 is VA'd. Unless you just skip through or mute them and read through at your own pace, it's going to have roughly the same run time for everyone. Fuck me for thinking that it should take 3 minutes to listen to the story between missions instead of 15. I do enjoy the story, but MICA needs to understand the concept of brevity. I don't care if they add a lot of supplemental materials and throw them in the server room or something, but they should be able to convey the basic idea for each scene and still include some complexity without having to write half of a light novel chapter for each one. Honestly, they could do a hell of a lot just by cutting redundant dialogue.
