The Karakuri Circus anime wasn't a good adaptation of the source but it was fucking wild watching it every week. The combination of it being this bizarre kingdom hearts thing where it's just constant twists within twists within flashbacks within flashbacks and the breakneck heavily truncated pacing was a match made in heaven for enjoyment.

>As an animeonlyfag this show is one of my favorites and a desperate breath of fresh air in a mostly shit season. Relative quality aside, it's hilarious how ridiculous the plot is. I'm regularly amazed at how effortlessly the author pulls batshit yet almost sensical plotlines out of his ass. I don't think I will ever see another show with something so random, seemingly trivial, and yet apparently key to the story's entire plot as the fucking Shirogane Dog.
