some thoughts now that i've finished the monster hunter world iceborne story
>the best parts
definitely LR world. i remember when i was furiously struggling to defeat - what was it? that stupid lightning weasel? - and anon said to me, this is the best part of the game. i called him a faggot when i read that post but actually, he was right. exploring the areas, tracking down monsters, developing strategies and learning how to fight them is great. the pacing was pretty good, too.
i remember learning that my weapon had a block, haha whoops.
one of my favorite parts was getting the little lizards to ride.
I liked the little native cats you can recruit, i did a bunch of missions with them.
it wasn't until a ways into the iceborne that i realized you could do item loadouts, which is great QoL.
>the monsters
although there were times when i felt that some monsters were shameless copies, there was enough variety that i felt happy with the selection of monsters.
if anything, there were too many. i never hunted a deviljo for example.
>my favorite parts
my favorite girl is handler.
my favorite monster... probably the seething bazel.
my favorite weapon... gs
my favorite armor... tigrex. free meal 3 + speed eating 3 is a game changer
