I think we're neglecting to ask a vital question; why is this happening NOW? What changed? Is Nick Lowe leaving his office? Is there something happening in the Brand New Day film that has put pressure on the books? Did someone over at Disney higher up on the food chain finally get a memo and confronted the Spider-Office? Has Nick Lowe finally just broken down after years of harassment online? Is it all just a scam again to sell ASM#1000 copies? Does the Venom book work under a loophole that Lowe can't control, and Ewing and Gomez are just doing whatever the fuck they want to pressure the Spider-Office (I was under the impression editorial is somewhat compartmentalized but correct me if I am wrong)?
