With the NHS waiting lists take months if not years for even minor operations. If you have a sudden not so urgent emergency you will be eating up to 10 hours in A&E. To contact your local doctor you MUST be on the phone at 8pm not a second later otherwise you wont get through and will have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. Free healthcare is not as its made out to be.
