Here’s everything that’s been announced since the October 2019 âge 20th Anniversary “Still Breathing” event and its current status:
>Project Mikhail — multiplayer mech action game for PC and (canceled) Switch — released on Steam as early access, converted to single-player campaign and ultimately abandoned.
>Muv-Luv Immortals — F2P mech action game for iOS and Android — pulled after less than one day due to exploits. Completely rebuilt by third party (Next Ninja) as Muv-Luv Dimensions.
>Muv-Luv Dimensions — F2P mech action game for iOS and Android — released in 2023, shutting down in June, 2025.
>Muv-Luv Alternative anime — anime adaptation of the visual novel — 1st season in 2021, 2nd season in 2022. Ended without completing the Alt story (and skipped Extra and Unlimited). Sold poorly on Blu-Ray in Japan. Not licensed for physical media or dub outside of Japan.
>Muv-Luv for Mobile — original trilogy VNs for iOS and Android — publicly beta-tested in early 2022 but ultimately never released, despite the Android version being the final unfulfilled backer reward from the 2015 Kickstarter.
>Muv-Luv Tactics — new tactical RPG in Alternative-like timeline — crowdfunding campaign in late 2024 raised about 60% of goal. Expected to release in first half of 2025.
>Muv-Luv Resonative — New title for episode 04 of The Day After — reconfigured as a strategy RPG, next on the proposed release schedule after Muv-Luv Tactics.
>Duty Lost Arcadia — Euro Front stories, following on from photonmelodies — reconfigured as a strategy RPG, next on the proposed release schedule after Muv-Luv Resonative.
