the further removed I get from this show, the worse it gets, in retrospect.

shit timeskip, months of shitty animation for one fight, stylistic matchups become "my genes/energy ball is bigger than yours", shit main characters, a chain of villains who were ACTUALLY behind it all like a matryoshka doll, shitty choices on which characters die (neji died for real for no reason & kakashi's poorly timed death that turned out to not even be real against pain)
like why I watched this show beyond like s2 of shippiden is beyond me. I'd have been better off watching anything else.

come to find out, I actually really like frogs and toads in real life but the way they're animated in this show sparks nothing in my imagination. the fucking slugs are cooler looking.
