Right but that's not even really an accurate picture of her philosophy. She made all kinds of claims that are core to the ideology. She wasn't well read and basically rephrased some Aristotle and Nietzsche, without knowing that the stuff she was lifting had already been responded to in a larger historical conversation. I'm not saying its false exactly but imho her final write-up is fucking weak. Her epistemology was baby-level and the "a is a" stuff was similarly undercooked.
It's not that someone is a retard for taking all that as being axiomatic, its just that nobody could possibly cling to her summaries of it if theyd ever read what the big boys said in a larger context.
Objectivism also collapsed under all the predictable conditions of a personality cult. It's a very ironic history. So called arch rationalists wind up in a cult hahaha....
