M yes or at least I used to, yes. Not because I'm looking for comfort from being lonely but because as wide as my shoulders are and being a side sleeper through my life it's really uncomfortable (painful, even) to have my shoulders "fold" in like they can do and the stiff pillow prevents that fold.
I've forced myself into being a back sleeper since then though. 25 lb. weighted blanket did the trick.

and yes when I had a gf for couple years I mostly replaced the pillow with her, although the best sleep was actually when we leaned against each other back to back but she was a fussy bedtime sleeper so that was rare
