I own three tatacons but I currently live in an apartment so I can't use them out of a desire to not disturb my neighbors and not make them think I'm a spastic retard.
Taiko is still perfectly playable with a normal controller but I'm reaching that 10* skill level where most of the songs I want to master have too high bpm or have note streams that are simply too dense to physically be able to keep up using just thumbs.
