holy fuck this set was bad. flavor mechanics everything. the final fantasy set is actually so good just by comparison to that bullshit. the final fantasy original art is mostly pretty decent, the mechanics (even in the commander decks) are basic and fun, and flavor is good. thank fucking god for square. it’s crazy to see a company that actually cares about its IP. I truly felt retarded for being hyped for lotrs after it came out.
