This is more in reference to the prototype, and what "project shadow" was.
They don't introduce actual shadow clones until heroes and 05, which was a stupid plot.
Finally rouges shadow projector is too high up here and clipping into her shoes. Which seems to be a problem in most the cutscenes and happens on dreamcast too.
