For the official 1401 municipalities, I used the Interior Ministry list to have the most up-to-date list, which sometimes fucked up because the list had all capital letters. Which can be confusing because we have capital İ and lowercase ı, which don't exist in English. The crwflags mostly had the correct pronunciation, so I copied and pasted from there.

I didn't notice Karaisalı/Karaisali because both sound like actual words that can exist. Karaisalı would literally translate into "The one from the black Jesus," but I am sure that's not where the name comes from lol.

Current usage is Elazığ, but it doesn't matter too much. If you're curious, the "â" is pronounced longer than regular "a" in order to reduce confusion.
