>>212275541>do (You) like going to places, taking photos and blogposting about it?Welcome to /flag/ + /extraflags/, a lovely general for Extraflags users that combines your passions for geography, maps AND travel by using the Extraflags extension.
Threadly activities include travelposting, urbex, wilderness exploration, hunting for radioactive minerals, (extra)flag collecting, map filling, cycling across Europe, other autistic activities and overall funposting.
>What is Extraflags?Extraflags is an open-source userscript that lets you choose regional flags, like states and provinces, to add to your already existing default country flag.
Turns out, it's very well suited for travel posting because you can flex with the ultrarare flags you're travelling to (rather than using it as a tripcode for posting in other threads)
Instructions and video guides for installing Extraflags can be found here: https://flagtism.gitlab.io/Extra-Flags-for-4chan/

my life is a bitch and i swear to god i was born unlucky and retarded
what would you choose? these are the only two options
>BUY an apartment in a dying out ass town somewhere up north (Nikel and Vorkuta are the only okayish options) where it's still snowing in early june and the warmest summer day is 15c, but i get some extra neetbux that way i would never have to work (i hate cold)
or
>RENT an apartment in virtually any place and invest the rest of the money that way it's gonna cover almost all of my rent, but i would have to work at least partially to make the ends meet (i hate working)
>>212395849can you find a cheap rent in a small town or rural area but in the south/not arctic latitude? There's plenty of dying towns in the Ponto-Caspic steppe or the far East, which might be better to live in than fucking Norilsk
also do you have any relatives that could you leave you inheritance? That's how i will earn up to 5000$ a year to do absolutely nothing
>>212396016>can you find a cheap rent in a small town or rural area but in the south/not arctic latitude?Probably not. Shit like Norilsk and Nikel and Vorkuta belong to Russia's Far North, a designate region where people receive more government gibs, due to the harsh climate and lower life expectancy.
That being said, good Lord I wouldn't want to live there.
>>212396016>can you find a cheap rent in a small town or rural area but in the south/not arctic latitude?if im gonna be renting i am able to afford any place besides Moscow and Saint Petersburg
so i dont have to look for a dying town to rent in, i can afford any major city besides these two
what im talking about is buying a home there and Nikel and Vorkuta are the only options where i was able to find a furnished not rundown apps for less than $7k
>also do you have any relatives that could you leave you inheritance?where do you think i got the money lmao
long story short i own 1/2 of the place i live in and so my retarded mother wants to sell the apartment and so im left with just a little more than $15k (still $3k in debt tho)
>>212396085true not to mention Norilsk is actually a city and the cheapest apartment there goes for x3 of that of what they got in Vorkuta

>>212396085kinda unrelated but this house on Soviet Street, not too far from Bishkek, goes for $3000
>>212396165>if im gonna be renting i am able to afford any place besides Moscow and Saint Petersburg>so i dont have to look for a dying town to rent inwell it would still be cheaper, althou you might not like it
>what im talking about is buying a home there and Nikel and Vorkuta are the only options where i was able to find a furnished not rundown apps for less than $7kif that's not possible anywhere not arctic, god that's a hard choice. I could live in something like Inta because i love the cold/snow and it's close to some mountains, but you are not me so knowing you preferences, i would try to stay there temporarily first for a while and then deciding
>>212395849The second option. Do not buy an apartment in a place where people wouldn't want to rent it from you in case you decide to live somewhere else.
>>212396365I can assure you, no matter how bad you think it is, it's a thousand times worse in the West.
>>212396389>well it would still be cheaper, althou you might not like itit's not gonna be a huge difference tho, like $50 or something like this

>>212396400yeah im thinking the same
>>212396470honestly i have no idea but from what i've heard and see it seems to be the case

I would have to split that at least with brother because he's the other owner, but my parents might want a cut as well.
The trial is in october apparently, if that or the renting don't go well for some reason i would have to graduate first and then work for at least a few months, and that would take too much

Lake Pepsi, a fairly unique region within Estonia. Its Western shore is mostly populated by Russian old believers who've been living there for centuries, opposed to the more recent Soviet Russian immigration.
Visaginas, a Soviet-style planned city in Lithuania, established in the 70s to house Russian workers of the now-defunct nearby power plant.
Trakai, hill of crosses, Curonian spit for some more mainstream stuff. To the North of Vilnius, the geographical center of Europe is located. Huge ass monument and not to be missed if you're in the area imo.

Extra Flags works on mobile with browsers that support extensions, like Yandex Browser or KiwiBrowser.
Disclaimers for phone users:
Extra Flags doesn't work on Clover, Omnichan, Kuroba and similar apps.
Chrome for Android doesn't support extensions (and has never supported extensions).
Extra Flags (as everything else) can't, doesn't work on- and will never be supported by iPhones.
Firefox for Android doesn't support useful extensions since 2020. Only a small set of reviewed and approved extensions can be installed and script engines aren't part of the elite.
Instructions:
Install Yandex mobile from the Google Play Store
Install ViolentMonkey or Tampermonkey from the Chrome Store
Install the Mobile script https://gitlab.com/flagtism/Extra-Flags-for-4chan/raw/master/Extra%20Flags%20for%20int.user.js
Browse to /int/
Click "OK" to set your region
To change regions, open the Extensions menu, click the Violentmonkey/Tampermonkey menu->Extra Flags setup, and set your region from the popup menu

Which can be confusing because we have capital İ and lowercase ı, which don't exist in English. The crwflags mostly had the correct pronunciation, so I copied and pasted from there.

I love the Northern Mariana Islands Republican Party logo lmao
>>212693193Northern Mariana Islanders can't even vote in elections so I really don't see the point in a Republican Party. Besides U.S Territories are basically their own country
>>212694036Territories participate in the presidential nomination process though, also they also send members to the House of Representatives, so it makes sense that their local politics are aligned with the U.S. ones.
>Besides U.S Territories are basically their own countryOne day they will be InshaAllah
>>212695176>One day they will be InshaAllahI feel U.S Territories are better off being territories. If they become states they might have their culture changed massively. If they are countries they might become failed countries and might have other countries might be taking advantage of them.
>>212696241I unironically agree.
>>212698121If you're this invested in the thread, which is awesome, why aren't you still installing extraflags, genuine question.
Really interesting to see a Tuvalu flag here since they are about to go endangered
