Semi related but I've been doing a fair bit of research on Jewish demonology just to figure out how One would view demons. The really interesting thing I'm finding out rn is just how important the lawful aspect of lawful evil is for them. For the most part they want to harm and kill people for shits and giggles but they have strict rules they have to follow and can be subject to sentencing by human authorities if they break them. They even have their own demon legal scholars that try to excuse their behavior or trick humans into killing themselves by making incorrect but logically defensible arguments.
The other thing that's crazy to me is just how much they ripped off Zoroastrian. Ashmedai? Ashema Deva. Adam stories? Yima stories. Messianic concept? Once again Zoroastrian. Even the worse parts of the Talmud were copied from Zoroastrian originals.
