Jack's Earth and Helluva's earth are separate universes, hell is kind of like a hub? But they also mention partitioning off hell from the other earths and then mention getting souls from earths "occasionally", and Aku is from Hazbin's hell. Frankly it's a little confusing and I would have preferred it all be within the same universe.

If it does keep in line with Earth's that might be a good explanation for why there's no WW1 soldiers or 50's housewives in hell. They've been able to keep up with trends and cultural progression to the point of fitting in with the modern man. Though, they should still retain accents imo.

Semi related but I've been doing a fair bit of research on Jewish demonology just to figure out how One would view demons. The really interesting thing I'm finding out rn is just how important the lawful aspect of lawful evil is for them.
