NTA. One thing is math, other is the notation you use: it would be absurd to use Egyptian numerals today. The combination of four hebrew letters add up to 12650, which would need 14 symbols to write.
So, why use Hebrew for sounds, if you can use modern phonology, spectrograms included (picrel)? If we're to use math, let's go all the way.
Anyway, I recently talked to an inititate who disregarded the difference between /ʃ/ and /s/ for the shin mother. Go figure.
