DMC has done irreparable damage to action games. Fights don't feel like fights in DMC. Fights actually felt like life and death in NGB because enemies were actual threats, there's an actual back and forth, it's not just a combo exhibition in training mode in a fighting game with a bloated but unnecessary moveset. Long flashy combos aren't impressive when they're piss easy to do and enemies are just sitting ducks that have no chance of ever killing your invincible MCU-quip spewing pizzaman.

Fuck ironic weebs and their DMC.
Fuck Platinum, fuck Kamiya, fuck Itsuno.
NGB will always be the pinnacle of high adrenaline action where fights feel like actual fights.
