Yeah AFAIK it's just a retelling of the movie so there isn't much of a difference. I agree I want stuff that expands the universe. Even short stories are often cool, like the Wrecker's short novels or the extras in some of the IDW1 volumes.

A funny drinking scene where some of the characters socialise would do wonders for the Skybound characterizations, but I rarely ever saw 2D stories from the US bringing up alcohol in a neutral or positive context, maybe it's an American thing.
