People think I am kidding when I tell them that 4chan is the most friendly and welcoming pvp community in FFXIV.
I have never joined any discords I just see what people are like in-game and on twitch chat whenever someone cool is streaming and it is pretty unbearable. I also have a funny story or two about my personal experiences with people but I'm pretty sure I've told them here before.

When I was getting into GW2 a few months back I took a gander at the PvP community to see what it was like and had a hard laugh that it does seem to be, quite literally, the exact same kind of thing that XIV PvP is. I also decided to never play it.
