The classic 3lap mode does no longer exist in world wide, the track options are the same as in deluxe BUT
>95% chance that ALL 3 tracks you get to choose are intermission tracks
>Random gives a 100% guarantee you will get a 3 lap track instead
>Lobbies constantly have close to 20 players choosing random, only 4 choosing intermissions instead
>Nintendo patches it so random now has a huge, at least over 50% chance to give you one of the 3 intermission tracks you can choose (the same ones, not even different intermission tracks)
>The 3 tracks you can choose remain with the same 95% chance of being intermission tracks
Basically players are forced to play at least 5 intermission tracks before they get the chance to play a RANDOM classic 3 lap track, you won't even be able to pick your favorites, it's gonna be a random one and there's a chance it fucking sucks like koopa troopa beach
The worst part is that knock out tour is actually fun, intermission tracks are perfect for that mode since you can't stay in the back for too long otherwise you will be eliminated, but for regular world wide the shortcuts are so massive that you can stay in the back for 10 minutes and still win last second (you can go from 24th to 1st with a golden mushroom and 3 regular ones)
