Anyway, I'd love to live in Japan as well because I basically grew up with their culture (anime, tokusatsu, sentai, jrock, jpop...), but It is expensive, not as easy to get citizenship or PR like Taiwan and they are probably tired of White retards and instacattle overtourism.
When I was in China I was transported to my childhood again, the country has this MASSIVE 90's Japan vibe that was really nice and nostalgic to me.
However, It was clear to me how over-monitored everything and the population truly do fear the government. People got scared shitless when they saw me using whatsapp lol.
I hope Taiwan is a good middle-ground between China and Japan
