yeaaah im riding a lot on talent and eye, I think it's easy to get to a stage where you have appealing work without knowing construction if you have "eye" and having eye just isn't common
the beg int scale often doesn't account for situations like mine where yeah, i get 180usd commissions and stuff like that but still lack a degree of basic fundamentals because i was never taught/never learned, because eye and appeal overtakes in some capacities to the viewer
