That's considerably faster than me. I think what used to eat up most of my time was checking for changes in dialogue options, now I've started checking the files for which options have extra lines so it doesn't take as long. Still can't finish an entire scenario in a single day though.

There's actually a few things that link the number eight to tanukis, likely because of it being considered a lucky number in general in Japan. Though the spots Gyobu was talking about are probably the eight lucky traits associated with them which include their hat, sake bottles, bellies, and of course, their balls.
