Let me put it this way, the additional precision, it's like you're playing with a 3rd stick. Sticks is for gross movement and motion is for fine. There are enough bad people that play this game that you can think you're doing fine, but you're giving yourself a handicap.
If you haven't tried it already, turn the sensitivity up on both motion and stick so you have to move the controller less. The game starts you at -1,-1 and I'm pretty sure most people here play +5,+5.
