While waiting for the countdown for my thread, two /his/ contributions.
Tertullian (a church father recognized by every major non Protestant denomination) argues that, Christ's flesh can only be that of Mary. (De Carne Christi, c. XX and XXII especially). In other words, Jesus could not be born as anything other than a woman.
Knowing that, you could even use the Gospel of Thomas to create an entire theology where only if you are an FtM you'll be saved.
Secondly, according to the Vinaya (Toh 1-6, 9.130), the Buddha Sakyamuni was a beggar woman in a previous life, who, having control over the samsara, decided to be reborn a man.
Tl;dr both Christians and Buddhists worship FtMs.
