You're overly focused on physical domination in straight combat. Was it unclear somehow the nature of being a teacher? She's also not the sort to just kill willynilly in total disregard for society. Her attire can do little to help in a variety of more mundane situations. It isn't so complicated a thing. A teacher is just one of many variants of 'superior' where the power and authority granted allows one to exploits those beneath them. That would include if the potential victim is vastly stronger for whatever reason.
