the new Ex-S has parts separation for the backpack which allows it to move a little bit to the side, to recreate its old illustration pose, the old Ex-S, has its backpack a brick, no articulation whatsoever, so the old Ex-S is only good if you dont care about recreating the pose from old illustrations and really be just a brick
