Meanwhile Criterion is massacring remasters of classics by hiring butchers like Ritrovata who completely destroy the grading. I'm talking about nearly a thousand movies now. Completely ruined black and white contrast, added suffused glow and blurry shit to output, tinted color movies, and they have no intention to stop.
