Initially chose the armor Outfit, but I was taking physicality anyway and the extra defense just didn't seem important once I saw later options. The witch bonus for magic learning seemed too good and the free spirit magic actually fits the build. It's just regeneration as long as you have mana, so I can kill people and heal myself.
Overall Im a assassin, but then pull out spatial magic's higher levels if needed for the big guns. Then with physicality, spirit magic and blood magic I should have enough endurance to outlast any other opponent even when throwing around what sound like very mana-hungry spatial warping attacks.
Quirks; subsidized means I dont need to work - fuck holding down a 9-5 while also doing this shit - and can concentrate fully on using gifted to just learn magic, and shrouded magic means i dont have to worry about being tracked down given i can just teleport randomly and duck into my pocket dimension. Kinda wanted the more mana option, seems incredibly useful, but ultimately I keep my mana stores inside other people's circulatory system.
Ultimate arts made me very unsure, but a big explosive attack just didn't seem all that important for my role and I'm tough enough and can regen so defensive didn't seem needed either. I decided an ability for my weapon to store and release blood sounded useful. I note it doesn't say *human* blood. Go to a slaughterhouse, throw my knife in the right place, come back a few hours later for a swimming pool of extra mana.
On Patrons, Gaia is the only absolute obvious pick. The other two are probationary: i'd see how well I can do without them before signing up. Urist's memory perk seems great for being a archmage for example, but I might not need it. Technopathy is literally talking to machines, storing memories in an external hard drive is one of the more reasonable things it could do (i'll call it Codex). And if I don't need to, avoiding attention by fucking with the dark gods sounds smart.
