I've been at this hobby 20 years. I've had groups cycle through members, lost touch with people, had to start anew with randos off the internet (including here on 4chan) and people I could barely recall from my high school days.

And damn if I'm not having the best fucking games of my life after making the effort to make new groups! This image was drawn by one of my players during the session I was running, she's an incredible artist. Another player helps me with technical issues and finds cool vidya for us to play during the week. My other group all met up last month to tour the city where our campaign takes place, then we ran an in-person session like God and Rein•Hagen intended.

So yes. Totally worth the effort.

Half my mecha players joined me for a couple rounds earlier. Good fun.

Now I just need to fix my laptop before our next RPG session, or else transfer all my VTT stuff to another machine.
