>the only thing anyone seems to list is feasts and romance (two utterly dogshit useless mechanics
IF everyone is clammoring for those two mechanics, than mayhaps they aren't dogshit or worthless? Aside from those:
>two the renown system was better than the weird gamified clan level
>Individual lord relations and personality
>Duels between lords if your relation is low enough
>Your honor/reputation effects how lords of varying dispositions like you
>The import/export mechanic
>Decent siege defender AI (Yes warband sieges suck and were basic but defending on a siege is fucking brainead and the AI is awful at it in BL)
>The ability to customize and purchase personal weapons/armor ( not in WB but this was shown in promo for the game and even still has the text for it)
>The ability to upgrade armor/weapon tiers through a smith (VC)
>Persistent companions with their own backstory, likes and dislikes
>Troop formations that are decent and not bugged like the "circle" formation (Available in WFAS and VC)
>Working armor (Bannerlords requires a mod to function properly)
>IMO a paper UI with Ganbat's art would have gone a long way. Bannerlord's loading screens and IU are uggo.
>Armor textures that don't vary in quality drastically, especially mail, which would allow you to mix and match
>The old leveling system would also be nice as the current one with perks and all kind of stinks.
