I wonder what interactions Shadow and Sage would have in Crossroads.

I believe they have potential for interesting dialogue, but in a different setting and game, where they meet. As of now, it would be just trash talk.

Also, would there be a reference to Shadow Generations with Big and Shadow? It's like, the only time they ever interacted.

What exactly do we even define as "freedom" in the concept of Sonic? That's a geniune question. Sonic has went on and on about freedom or whatever, but in the context of the games is usually to stop the oppresion of Eggman (+others), help some people be true to themselves.

Does that concept of freedom applies to Deltarune too? Because Deltarune, imo, is more about freedom of will; is a meta text about the characters being part of a simulation, and the shadow bosses (plus kris, maybe) want to be "free" of their role.

I dunno, I feel its too different themes despite the name.
