Me? IDK, I have never experienced an "end of honeymoon" moment or feeling. The closest I've gotten to it is the "fell out of love with someone" and that's always been months after dating stopped. I don't want to like, slam them with this but my last relationship I was still fully into after 8 months just as I was from day 1 even though my partner at the time was clearly tired of me after 2 months.

Possibly, but Jesus this must be a long honeymoon for them because they've been emotionally invested in me for a very long time even before dating. Possible but improbable in my estimations.

Ah, yeah seen a fair few of those in my time. It probably doesn't help that as a person I am pretty lewd minded but it doesn't consume the entire conversation. I just don't see it prudent to break up a perfectly good ramble just to tell them I want to eviscerate their shirt with my fingernails at that very moment and the only thing stopping me is hundreds of miles.
