I still play Star Trek Online. Love my Vor'cha. Enjoyed that Resurgence game okay, too. Strange New Worlds is worth watching, at least season 1, shame they reference STD once or twice, but it's thankfully mostly self contained. Loved Elite Force 1/2.

I hear Unknown Sector has something like that, early access and a solo dev, though. For me. I'd like an imsim game where you're on a station with a thinly established ceasefire and you can help them come to a peaceful solution or help one of the sides wipe out the other, with the canon peaceful ending being you joining the Federation ship as a civilian attache, having romanced the Caitian first officer with a couple hours of endgame dating and romance with them before it ends on a cliffhanger of the captain calling you both to the bridge after an impact, cutting to credits as the two of you reach the door. Then the sequel would start with the doors opening.
