If you introduce unicron in any capacity, there is only one solution. And in general, you also can't see him transform because unless they're willing to go for Earth, as in, the entire planet migrating, it's not the kind of unhappy story anyone would willingly take on. Time Travel is the #1 way to show it though, as seen in Marvel's, and that Terminator 1 crossover. That said, it's a problem with only one solution and not something you can explore without a time loop
