Everyone thinks WB’s are just moustache twirling retards cause of a few writers and their general beats but then you read some of their books and realise the emotional depth they have, constantly feeling like their very existence and purpose is being tested. They knowingly walk down a path they know dooms many, and they bear that weight not because they enjoy it but because they believe it’s their duty. That commitment and the inter-clashing beliefs of their commanding officers make them far more interesting than any other legions. They're the most truthful liars. They bring salvation to those who don’t need it. They fight to unshackle the imperium only so they’d bind everyone to new masters and gods. They are the biggest hypocrites and most naive dreamers to don power armour.
