I don't embrace mediocrity. I accept low points in an otherwise stellar story. Like I said, they could not possibly, ever, live up to Shadowbringers and Endwalker. This was meant to be ARR 2, a start of a new chapter and story. All I wanted was ARR tier story, and I got that. I accept they were lining everything up for future expansions.
I'm willing to give them another expansion and try. One bad expansion isn't the end of the world, see stormblood.
