People sure have a lot of ways to needlessly complicate and fuck up the simplest dessert drink in the world.

All you need is coke and vanilla ice cream dammit. Adding anything just mucks it up.

When I said I was a slow learned in the kitchen, I meant it.

Only recently did I figure out that you add the ice cream to the soda, not the soda to the ice cream. It seems counterintuitive, but if you add the soda to the ice cream, you lose a lot of fizz and fill the glass with fluff. If you add the ice cream to the soda, it mixes slower and the temptation to use too much ice cream is limited.
