They're all neon garbage because that's what modern cartoons are. Things either are filled with a soulless, desaturating gas or are blindingly bright and colorful because the guys in suits said their kid loves cocomelon.

You can't have proper color grading or atmosphere in games anymore. Even fromsoft has fvllen to this and all their new games are over the top anime bullshit with bosses doing 50 flips in a row or beat you over the head with depressing "vgh.... forgive me zanzibart" bullshit.
