No, It is simply better because it has catchier melodies and more of them.
Snes OST is good, but GBA is more in line with the other games, because, duh, it's all David Wise. (Yes I know the lady that did 3 snes did music for dkc1). I can respect it for being different though.
But yeah, it's only problem is no CD release and we're stuck with gba compression. I can see (hear) that being a deal-breaker for some. Hopefully we can get one of those autistic sample reconstructions one day. It deserves it. Banjo Pilot too..
