/vg/ isn't really a board like how /a/ or /v/ are. IIRC most people here only ever post in one or two generals. I might pop into a general for another game I just played if I liked it, but I never hang around for long.
As for other games, the only new games I've played in the past few years that I really liked were Omori and Into the Breach. I've been meaning to get into romance visual novels/eroge, but I'm too lazy to know where to start
