There was an English dub of Evangellion that aired on cartoon network that only aired like 3 episodes and they censored a lot.
Now you wanna talk about censorship, look at the Korean dub of One Piece, they literally censored all the blood, tattoos, and gave Sanji a lollipop before 4Kids ever did and also censored all the swords into clubs.
The intro was cool though.
