You don't have to convince me you like the SCAR, it would actually help your case if you played devil's advocate for the other rifles to compare and contrast, which would be very elucidating about what really, practically sets apart the SCAR. Atp you seem to be reiterating the same points

Yes. But it isn't orders of magnitude better than .308 or 6.5cr so I don't see the point if you have other cartridges already. That being said if all you have is 5.56 yes it will be a big difference
