I think it's sad that the dork jokes or the gay ceo jokes overshadow the tragedy to Chimata's character. She's like Kogasa, only where Kogasa ascended in a sense, Chimata had a fall from grace. She has to put on a facade of egotism when, in reality, she's alone and stuck as a pawn in the schemes of others and is aware of this state yet powerless to stop it. Chimata doesn't even get to have the comfort of friends, the only people who bother to be around her are those who hope to use her powers for a quick buck.
