If you're responsible it'd probably be alright, it's not too heavy, it's got a fairly low seat height, maintenance is fairly simple, and, while it's fairly quick, and has plenty of power, the motor and throttle response isn't insanely snaply like a 600cc i4 that's constantly tempting you to crack it open and turn yourself into a meat crayon. Reasonably torquey down low, so it's fairly forgiving to learn clutch control on.
