Nope. I understand DB just fine. It doesn't try to educate you and whatever themes you might find in there is just pure coincidence. It's not like Demon Slayer where the author "lectures" you and throws symbolism at your face. It's just a fun comic about a monkey man who loves to punch peoppe done by an artist who's really good at drawing cool fights.
DB being written as just a pure piece of entertainment without the moral faggotry was its biggest strength and secret to its staying power. JJK also caps out on that by cutting the sentimental fluff and drawing cool fights.
