Just added a new, third layer. After this I'll only add one or two more.
I was pretty nervous last night, after checking the orb one last time, it was fuming heavily (and boy does it stink) and bubbling around the ticks. But it nowhere near as bad as them deep frying last the first time. In the morning it turned out fine. The ticks in the previous layers are just a little bubbly, but we should still see them.

I remembered your post and I considered clear coating them, but I don't really see how I could thoroughly clear coat several hundreds of ticks, other than doing it one by one with a brush or dipping them with tweezers. Not sure if simply spraying them would be enough. Not being familiar with clear coating, I was also perplexed on a good way to let it dry.
